Terms
Use Visa Trouble as a planning guide.
Plain English alongside the full wording. Read each explanation together with its matching section.
1. What the service does
Visa Trouble helps you begin exploring possible US visa routes and general Canadian immigration information. Canadian information is free and anonymous, with no Canadian account saving. When US account features are available, you may be able to create an account after citizenship, save permitted progress and register interest in application preparation. It does not file an application, provide legal representation, guarantee eligibility or promise a government outcome.
2. Check before relying on guidance
The route information is general guidance based on dated research and may be incomplete or become outdated. Check current official sources and obtain qualified advice before spending money, filing anything or making an irreversible decision.
3. Your account and information
Keep your account secure, use the service lawfully and do not enter another person's information without authority. Tell us truthfully where you live; the service may not be offered everywhere, and we may close an account in a place where it is not offered. Do not upload or enter passports, financial records, health or criminal history, or other private case documents unless a secure application workspace specifically asks for them. Visa Trouble is not a law firm and does not file, submit, review, check or sign anything for you. If your answers show removal or court proceedings, a past refusal, overstay or criminal history, or a request for us to file, review or sign, we will point you to independent directories of lawyers and accredited representatives instead of opening preparation tools.
4. Prices and paid services
US route discovery and joining a US application waitlist are free. Any US paid preparation, professional review, filing or government service will show its scope, price and refund terms separately before purchase. Canadian information is free; Canadian paid services and application waitlists are not offered.
5. Accepting these terms
These terms were updated 15 October 2026. Continuing to use Visa Trouble means you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the site and do not create an account, save progress or join a waitlist. When you create an account, we ask you to accept them explicitly and record the version and time.
